As a result of the demand for security in the popular colonies of the city of Chihuahua, a proposal was made to develop an urban system of safe trails for the inhabitants of these areas of the city, those living with infrastructure problems, services, without equipment urban destined for recreation and coexistence and fundamentally deficient in relation to their safety.
The proposed pedestrian walkways of concrete, connect with rest areas and in some sections integrate a lane for non-motorized vehicles, giving users the possibility of traveling in various means.
To develop the project, a study of the area was carried out, from which all the criteria and norms taken into account were determined to establish the path, characteristics and components for the project, its construction, conservation and maintenance.
The project raises elements for its agreement with the beneficiated communities, both for its execution and its co-responsibility in its use and conservation, promoting the appropriation of spaces by the community and a non-motorized mobility in a safe way for users, improving the environmental and urban conditions.
