SAN AGUSTIN MIGRANT HOUSE
It is estimated that about 120 people arrive in the city of Chihuahua with the intention of continuing on their way to their final destination, this generates scenarios of vulnerability for the migrants themselves and for the city.
The "San Agustín" Migrant House is a local initiative that promotes the solution of conflicts that the phenomenon of migration can generate.
The project consists of the adaptation of a property donated by the Catholic Church of Chihuahua to the Civil Association "Casa del Migrante San Agustín", who will have the capacity to shelter up to 80 migrants and feed 120 people per day; helping annually about 29,000 migrants.
We are proud to be part of this project and we thank and congratulate the civil associations involved in this project that seeks to improve the migratory transit conditions that exist in our country.
