The building is part of the Technological Park in the Tecnológico de Monterey, Chihuahua campus, which hosts companies dedicated to design and technology.
The architectural project seeks to reflect the prestige and high technology pursued by ITESM, with lower energy consumption and incorporating materials that respect the environment. At the same time that allows them to enjoy a space of work of high environmental quality, where users are involved, allowing them to control their work environment.
The architectural program includes: multipurpose room, administrative area, meeting room, kitchen, cafeteria, machine room, warehouse and 24 open, flexible and modular office spaces.
The bioclimatic criteria were based on five main objectives: reduce air conditioning and use natural light as much as possible, have passive solar heating, natural control ventilation and temperature through thermal inertia and cross ventilation, as well as individual control of the environment to achieve high comfort.
These premises allowed the project to acquire a LEED Silver certification.
